fly fishing

Though an often overlooked art form, fly fishing is one of my favorite ways to fish. It presents something entirely new to the sport which can be so relaxing yet quite challenging at times. I was lucky to have learned the sport at a very young age so I could grow up tying flies and learning to appreciate the fluidity in its motion. Another aspect that I love is the added challenge that is presented when fighting fish. I feel that there is much less between the angler and the fish when a fly rod is the weapon of choice because instead of a reel holding the line, many times the fish can be stripped in with your hands. I also feel that there are many situations where a fly is a more appropriate lure to get fish biting. Whether you are an experienced saltwater fly angler, you have only wet your line in small mountain streams, or you're not even sure what the sport is all about, I would be more than willing to assist you and teach you everything that I know.
